Happy Week

It was a happy week for me. Let's face it, I'm a democrat. I'm not a socialist, I'm a 'let's take care of each other' democrat. I'm not a part of any party because I see major flaws in both parties, but my heart tends to fall to the left. I felt that Joe Biden was too old to run for President but I feel now, that we need his experience in governing and knowledge of world politics to help heal this country.

As for Kamala, well, what  blessing. As my daughter's shirt read,

And before you say it, just remember this quote.

and I would add your wives and granddaughters hear you too.
And before you say, "It's not about her being a women."
It is, maybe you don't see it, but it is.

Two other Happy things happened this week.

Our son Scott, who suffers with Anxiety and Depressions, and loves to write about it,
had a really good week. Could it be the effects of Coronavirus?
Maybe. Anxiety and Depression are a chemical imbalance and no one really knows why or what the Coronavirus does to people.
I am taking it as a win. And I'm happy to say that he wrote about feeling good.

Our granddaughter was baptized in Canada.
With the boarder closed, we could not attend but we were all there on Zoom.
It was pretty cool to look and see my kids and mother there.
I'm not making light of it at all, but hey, it was way cheaper (no flight to Canada), warmer ,  more comfortable, (I was in my sweats 10 minutes after it was over) and more convenient (My mom and Todd's family were able to enjoy it also).
I still was able to give my talk and am truly grateful for this technology.
