My Friend

My little Richie, had a birthday this week.

He has grown.

He said he didn't like this picture, but I did,
I mean, he did make that face.

Sometimes my job makes me smile.
I work in special ed.
We were making pictures of our friends.
Here is my friend Liz....they needed an example.
---Sorry Liz---

This is not bad.

She has braces...

I often question whether this child is ESL instead of special ed...

Come on, I can't be the only one who laughed at this.
I have decided he is an 'Impressionist"...

Another one I wonder about ....

Not bad....

An Olympic ski suit?

Honestly, no one at our school has an orange face.

Love the single stray hair on top.

This child melts my heart.
He has come along way,
and it turns out is friends with the orange faced kid.

It is hard for my not enjoy these.

Sharing Cookies

The hardest part about lowering my sugar intake is simply,
how to make something taste good.
They tasted great, there was plenty of sugar in them.

What can I say?
My family isn't interested in lowering their sugar intake.
I keep trying to find something good, without all the sugar.
It is an uphill battle.
I like these, I use honey instead of white sugar and I add coconut.
They still have a lot of sugar, but they also have a lot of
-good for you- ingredients in them.
They freeze great and if you have one or two a day, it works.
The search continues.........

Pretty White Stuff

Oh, we were so happy to have some white stuff yesterday.

It turned out to be a lot of white stuff,
and then some more after the sun went down.

But it was a good storm and we feel blessed to have it.
And, if you were smart enough to send your 16 year old to shovel the driveway,
you shoveled your driveway,
Things are looking pretty good today.

Yoga ? ? ? ?

I have started doing Yoga.
The very thought of it makes me laugh too.

So why does this fat lady do yoga?

Well, I have bursitis in my knee
and although, for the most part, I get through the day,
it still hurts and I couldn't think of anything else to try.

Guess what?

It is excellent for my knee.
I can get up from the floor.
It gives me an hour to myself.
I can only improve.

And that, my friends, is why I do YOGA.

By the way, we got rid of our fog and even had a little rain.
