Sweet Sweet Spring

I think it is fair to say that we have had to wait for the wind to stop and the warm air to join us just a little longer than usual this year.

I am happy to say that it is that perfect time when you can sit outside and be comfortable while enjoying the sound of birds and hummingbirds, squirrels and kids playing.

The flowers are blooming.

And life is good.

The little people at school are  finishing up the year.

My job description has changed and I was not interested in the new direction of this job. Too many kids left out, too many teachers are not going to be happy.

So I did my last Clifford lesson.

And these sweet newcomers will be moving to Middle school next year. What a blessing to work with them this year. They are amazing young people who will do well on life.

I need to work for two more years so I will be moving to 4th grade. I'm not excited about it, but I think I can do it. I see the hand of the Lord in this move. It is going to be okay.

So my Summer adventure will start on FIVE days. Looking forward to spending so time with the grands, some beach time, a few hikes and enjoying the beautiful world th as t God has given us.

Better days are ahead.

Kansas

We flew to Kansas for the baptism of Calvin. It was a beautiful little trip.

Calvin had asked me to give a talk and I found one on the three bears of baptism.  First we bear the name of Christ. Second we bear one another's burdens and third we bear testimony of Jesus Christ.

My sweet friend, Melinda passed away that week. I kinda cried through bear one another's burdens.  When the talk was over, Calvin jumped up and gave me a big hug. My heart was full. When I apologized for crying during his talk he said, Grandma, lots of people cry when they talk.

Oh the sweet things the littles say.
