Class of 2033

When we made this sign I was like, 2033 is long way away. But we know that time will fly.

The Lucky One: He came in knowing nothing, but he worked hard and left knowing almost everything.

Teacher's Pet: I registered this little guy. He was holding his dad hand. His dad is like  6'4" and has a gentle soul. Like father, like son.

Sibling: I had her sister a few years ago and they are polar opposites.  But I enjoyed them both. They have a cute mom who is supportive of her family and of school.

So we had some fun.

And sent them on their way.

After the annual clean up, pile up the furniture and data analysis,  I went on my way.

Wow! A Year for the Books

I am happy to say that we made it.

 What a crazy year.

 Four more days.

I feel like we broke every Covid rule.

I still feel like our school board was/is clueless.

Masks work in stopping the spread of germs.

I'm not sure how wearing jean's once a week helps a pandemic,  but it has been enjoyable.

My 24 little people have worked hard. I'm pretty proud of them.

Here's hoping we never do it again.

Warmer Days

It was a beautiful day for a walk yesterday.

We went the Hagerman Wildlife Refuge.

It was not quiet. You could hear songbirds, geese, bugs and ducks.

Wr saw a couple geese family's on the path. So sweet. And the pelicans were beautiful.

                Abundant plant life

It was a good walk, but I still enjoy this.

Moving On

It appears that we have moved passed the fears and worries of the Pandemic. The CDC said that vaccinated individuals no langer have to wear masks in public. It makes me happy. I had a lady tell me this week that she thinks she got sick, not Covid, because she had lunch with me and she believes that if you eat lunch with someone who is vaccinated it will make you sick. So there's that! At church this week we no longer have to wear a mask. It still bothers me to be in a room with that many people. I don't know if I will recover from that. And Gooding County, where I work everyday, continues to have 1 to 2 cases a week. I believe in science. I believe in praying for vaccines. And I believe in putting them both to the test. It has been interesting watching people navigate their way through this very stressful time. Some have done better than others. So I will continue to keep moving foward.

Happy day

My tulips are coming up dried out this year. Most of them look tired on the day they bloom. It was a dry, warm, Winter.

But there is always beauty in Spring.

I'm so happy to say that I finished all my classes yesterday. I read all of these books this year. Have mercy on my soul! And I have written many ,many papers. I still have to take the Praxis, but am waiting until June, when I will have time to study.
I could not have done post-grad work without:
Google -- big words, big ideas, research at my finger tips.
Callie--- she is an excellent editor, knows her APA, and a great cheerleader.
Facebook -- I was in a cohort for this program and they live all over the state of Idaho. We had a Facebook group. They answered questions, talked smack about how hard some of these assignments were and connected in a way that would not be possible otherwise during a pandemic.
And of course,
the BSU help line -- They know how to help me with all my technical problems.  God bless them.

Looking forward to a new after school agenda. Not sure what it is, but it will be awesome.
