Some People

My brother and his wife went to visit my parents this weekend.

I would love to have been there,
but I made my visit in December.

I just wanted to take a minute and thank my brother, Jay and my sister, Allison.
They and their families help my parents soooo much.
I can't imagine things working as well as they do without them.

Women's March

I have friends, all over the country, that have marched in the Women's March.

I have a few thoughts about it.

First:  I love that I have so many friends, of all ages, that go to the March.

Second:  I love that they all have their own reason to be there.

Third:  I think it is important for Women to unite. to share, and to be heard.

Now, there is no March here in southern Idaho.  So I spent the day with women.
I went to the movies with a friend on Friday.
I visited Dixie on Saturday morning
and had lunch with some work friends that afternoon.

It is nice to be together.
To share thoughts and learn from each other.
Life is Good.

Winter?

After last year, when it snowed and snowed,
I thought I would share some pictures of this winter.

It is just lovely.

My strawberries are still growing.

And look, I found a some color.

Considering that last winter we were under three foot of snow,
we are very happy.

Day Trip

After Christmas, Wes and I took a trip to California.

People are always saying things to me like,
You guys like to travel.

The truth is, we have to travel to visit our family.
We went to visit our parents.
The weather was perfect.

We decided to take a little day trip to San Fransico.
Every time I go there, I always think it will be the last time.

We took BART into downtown.

I love walking around this city..

Here we looked up and saw a beautiful garden on a rooftop.

I love that you can find the old mixed in with the new.

So cool.

They had this amazing exhibit on the Sabbath.
I found myself reflecting on my views of this Holy Day.
Who knew you could be in the middle of San Francisco and have a spiritual moment.

When we came out we were next to this church
Saint Patrick's Catholic Church.

It was beautiful inside.

Found this in the shopping district.
Who Knows?

It is fun to visit, but always nice to leave.

For the record, we are planning on sticking close to home for a couple of months.
