Living in a Dairy town

Occasionally we leave town,
or as I say,
we enter civilization.

I don't know why, but I have been questioning everything lately.
Including where I live.

I will say that when you enter civilization
that you find a lot of traffic
and shopping.

For now, we will stay put.

This is the only time of year this dairy town smells good.
I love this plum tree;
beautiful blossoms,
smells great,
only a few plums.

Everyone knows I love my tulips.

This stuff only blooms once a year,
but boy, does it bloom.

And my tulips live in happiness on sunny days.

Books, Books, Books

Do you love books?
I have to admit,
I have a fetish for books.

I have a kindle my 3rd one
and I love it.

I can all of my books with me;
all the time.

And yet, I still have books all through the house.

I received these books for my 7th birthday.
True confession;
I have never read them.

I have really cleaned out the bookshelf,
but I still can't part with some of them.

I do clean out my quilting books,
but I still have a few.

And children's books,
well that's just another issue.
My kids all had a bookshelves in their rooms,
because they had to have a place to keep the books I bought.

So here is my dilemma.,
These books are in the scholastic book order this month.

I don't even like Star Wars,
but I really want these.
Call me crazy, but I may just own 6 more books.

Honeysuckle

This weekend,
one of my many projects
was to plant my honeysuckle seeds.

I bought the seeds on Amazon.
According to the instructions,
they need 60 days of winter.

Now this is a picture I took on Tuesday...
stink-en snow!

But this is a picture I took on Friday...

So I went with the refrigerator for 60 days of 40 degree weather.

I hope it works, because I really want some honeysuckle
in my garden.
