Outer Space

Twelve days ago I found myself watching the Artimis rocket launch, texting my family to watch it also.

I've always been a moon lover. In fact, just that morning I had been out in the dark for a glimpse of the moon.

It is one of the few things I miss about going to work; watching the full moon as I drove my 15 miles.

I'm still not sure why this mission was necessary, but the pictures they sent back were phenomenal.

The peace and beauty were contagious. I found joy in this crew. It was such an amazing event in space. A resput from the man made messes we deal with daily.

These are pictures from my son in law, who had a new camera lens.

I can't see it, but he could.

So of course, when they were coming home I had to watch. It was just like the old days. Wondering and praying for a safe reentry.

So when the splashdown was completed, we let out a sigh of relief and a joyful heart.

I felt the hand of the Lord in this mission. The careful planning of NASA, the perfect weather conditions in the Pacific, and celebration at mission control. Just a perfect way to end the week.

I won't go into my 1969 story of trying to see the men on the moon, but that story is never far from my heart when I look at the moon.

Until the next mission...
Good night moon....
Love my NASA photos....
He created the moon and the stars ......
