MLK

I wanted to make a giveaway quilt for Martin Luther King day; day of service. Nothing went right yesterday morning. I went to the Rec, had a haircut and didn't get home until almost 1:00.

My mom's brother sent me a message asking for a picture of his family. I spent some time trying to find one and how to send it. I realized that I had to start the laundry and make cookies for my mom's birthday post.
My sisters and I all post the same thing every year. I was frustrated because I knew I would not get to the quilt. And that's when I heard the voice, Getting this picture to Uncle Larry is service.

It wasn't what I had planned but it was service.

Remembering my mom birthday.
 Here's to us.
