I have been teaching lessons on Dia de los Muertos for two weeks. I teach the same lesson 3 times a day. It was a lot.
It is a sweet holiday that invites the spirit's of those who have passed on to come
Back for a visit.
For me, they visit more than once a year and they don't need an ofreda to feel welcome.
My favorite part of these lessons is a line from a student:
Dia de lus Muertos is a time to honor our loved ones who have passed on, like my cat.
May your loved ones be with you; now and always.
