The Winter of '48

Here we sit in our warm house.

We are having another Snow Day.

I used to like Snow Days,
but not so much any more.

I took this picture for Richard on Sunday.
My little snow mounds are now about 7 inches taller.

Here is the deal.
A snow day starts with a 5 am phone call.
Why can't they call it the night before?
It is not fun to be woke up by the phone.
I am tired.

Yesterday, as it was snowing like crazy and we were at school,
I said to my dear friend and helper,
Grandma  Susan,
"What is with this winter?"
She said to me,
"It is like the winter of '48'"

I don't want to relive history.
I feel like I live in a snow globe.
