Receiving Blankets

I am grateful that I learned how to make these receiving blankets.

I remember the day my mother taught me how.

As a result, I have been able to give many of these as gifts.

People always ask me how to make them, and when I tell them, 

they always say, 'That doesn't work.'

I tend to disagree, considering I make about 12 a year.

So here are the two things that matter most.

Use a Wing needle in the sewing machine and

buy one of these. 

There are two crochet hooks inside here.

The metal one is perfect for these blankets.

( I have had mine for 12 years, but I bought a box just to make sure they are still inside)

I know, you have a little hook, but it is not this little.
