On Memorial Day weekend, our friends, Liz and Jeff came for a visit. The weather was not so good, but on Saturday we had a not so bad day and went on a little Idaho Adventure.
We hiked to this waterfall.
We passed this pond on the way. I found it to be very peaceful.
Here is were we started.
And we went to the Hagerman Fossil Days Parade and Festival and found these 14" corn dogs.
All in all it was a great day and we enjoyed the company.

This place is like being in Hawaii, with waterfalls, lava rock and lush greenery. You don't have to leave Idaho to enjoy some of the most beautiful spots on earth God created. And it didn't cost an airline ticket across the Pacific either. It was a great weekend. Places I've never thought I would get to see. And the company and weather were perfect.

It is hard to imagine a better day - good friends, good hiking, beautiful scenery - and "foot long" corn dogs!! That would brighten any day.
