Rock Star

My friend Dixie (who is 79) was invited to do a Trunk Show for the Desert Sage Quilt Guild in Twin Falls. She showed over 20 quilts. She has made 32 queen size quilts as wedding gifts for her grandchildren. Many of her quilts are scrappy, and few are from quilt store fabrics, and all hand quilted. She created many of her patterns, and a few were from news clippings her mother saved. As we opened up the quilts, there were many oohs and awes. For someone who had never seen a trunk show, she was a Rock Star at her own.
