Celebration of Life

I often tell people that my family was dysfunctional because we couldn't put together a funeral for my mom. I have changed my story to we were putting together an extravaganza.

58 of us went to San Francisco to enjoy a Giants game. My brother. Ty and his wife Nancy chose not to attend. This is every living person in my parents family. They came from, California, Southern California, Idaho, Utah, Kansas, North Carolina, and Calgary.

Lucy designed shirts.

Callie and Scott bought twin hats.

We paid to see her name on the Jumbo Tron.

Clara was also on the Jumbo Tron...all the kids were.  The other group also made it on the Jumbo Tron.   (We had 2 groups, $90 tickets and $30 bleacher seats.)  The Giants won In the 9th.  It felt like Grandma was there, watching over us and working some magic. It really was something special.

We did have a cook out the day before which my brother and wife did decide to join us.

Goid people. Good memories.

Family is everything....
