Happy Toes

I decided it was warm enough to wear sandals to work.  Let me rephrase, I was so ready to wear sandals, that I decided to wear them despite the weather.  I really like my toenails to be painted when I wear sandals so I painted them.   

The kids at school were delighted.   They're 5, so that wasn't a surprise.  What was a surprise is the amount of adults that were so happy to see my painted toes.  

Who knows why, but painted toes make people feel warmth and joy.
