Spring Colors

Please indulge me and let me share a few more photos from last week.

I so enjoyed watching these 2 ducks at Box Canyon.

I loved having Liz and Nikki for the weekend.

I think everybody knows I have a thing for tulips,
which is why they can grow anywhere they want in my yard.

And the yellow goes so well with the red tulips.

I love this picture of Richard.
The blue sky and green grass;
you can almost smell the baseball.

Prom Weekend

We had a busy weekend.
Richard went to the prom.
Isn't he cute?
And isn't his date adorable?
That is the mom in me talking.

Here is his prom group.
I love all the pretty colors and handsome young men.

His date came 600 miles with her grandmother to go to the prom.
Her grandmother is one of my best-est friends in the world.
We went for walk to Box Canyon.
It was beautiful.

and warm outside not always a given in April in Idaho.

This is Rock Chuck.
Just in case you have never seen one.
People around here really like them.

Richard had a game really and got the W.

Cal came home to visit with our company.
This is after chruch on Easter.

And of course, the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

No, there was not one in the tree.

A great weekend.

Conference Cinnamon Rolls

I love watching General Conference.
It brings me inspiration, peace and a feeling of Gods love.

I make cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning.
I am hoping that they will make Richard happier about listening to 2 sessions of conference.
It is a lovely tradition.

I made these on a cookie sheet from Temptations.
Besides being pretty, which they are, they are amazingly easy to clean up.
That should make Wes happy.

I don't have a picture of Richard this week.

It is probably a good thing.
We went to the ENT and found that
his nose was broke in 6 places.
The bones are in the right places and at this  point everything is good.
He has broken 7 different bones and this has been, by far, the most painful.
I am grateful that he is feeling better and is back in the saddle.
He pitched 6 innings today and only let 2 runs in.
