Spring Break in Southern Idaho

Do you ever wonder what you can do in Southern Idaho for Spring Break?
I do.

We played at the park.

Went to the canyon for a walk.

We went to Logan to see the play Scott was working with.
We meet him at this park and I was like, "Hey, I have been here before."

On to Aggie Ice Cream.

Check out the size of this sandwich.

Went to the Hot Springs to swim.

Stopped at the Fish Hatchery in Hagerman to check out the ducks
and take pictures of the weeds.

I found some more of these nests.

We found two geese on this little walk.

She just likes to touch everything.

Made some cookies.

Did some kite flying, mine went way up there.

Did some sliding,

and more sliding.

Oh yeah, and picked up Rich from the ER
after he broke his nose at a game.

You never know what will happen during Spring Break.

Most interesting thing I have seen a bathroom

This is by far the most interesting thing I have seen this week.
I don't even know how to express my feelings..
wonder...joy...puzzlement?
They all apply.
(This was being stored, not used)

We were in Burley Idaho, watching Rich pitch.
He did a great job, by the way, and has 2 W's this week.

It looks like a beautiful day, but it was windy and cold.
---The bathroom was warm---
The second he was done pitching, we left, the score was 11-1.

We had a great time and these three little people got to meet each other
and play.
It is sad, that you come to Idaho for Spring Break and think it is warm,
but, it is the case for these guys.
Praying that the weather warms up holds and let's get out without the hats and coats.

Pre-Spring Break

Scott was home for his Spring Break and I decided we needed a little Idaho Adventure.
We went to Box Canyon.
As we started walking out to it, I look up and see 3 eagles sitting on the irrigation pipes.
It's as close as I have ever been to an eagle.

Here are 2 of them.  They don't like to get their pictures taken.

Neither does Scott E.

I only walked out to the lookout,
but these two went on and went down to the water.

I need to go back someday when the sun is shinning on the water.

I hung out awhile and then walked hiked back.

Part of this walk was original Oregon Trial.
It always amazes me that you can see it.

I can't help but wonder what kind of nest this is.

We spent today at a double header.
They have new  -camo- jerseys.
I think they are, well, ridiculous.

We sat through 4 and 1/2 hours to see our boy pitch 1 inning.
He did well, and since he is a relief picture, it will always be like that.

It seems I have been posting pictures of him making faces,
so I decided to stick that plan.

Green

I love this time of year.
You know, when little bits of green start shooting up.

Sure, Winter may not be over,
but Spring is winning today.

BYU Mom

So, I have had this key ring for a couple a years.
I bought it a few years ago when I had 3 kids at BYU.

So, as luck would have it,
I will 3 at BYU again in the fall.
Meet my newest little Zoobie.
Callie will have one more semester and
Todd will be starting a Master's Program.
-- which means Peter will be about 1000 miles closer to his grandmas ---

I don't know if it was right, but I sent in Richards housing deposit the day after he got accepted.
I fear it may look like I'm in a hurry to get him out of the house.

To be fair, I will look for a Utah State Mom, key ring when we go visit Scott later this month.
I love that he is there. He writes for the paper, which I think is so cool.
It has been a great experience for him.

You also should know that Wes graduated from Fresno State
and I went to the not so famous
CSU Stanislaus in the big town of Turlock, California.

It isn't about where you go,
It is more about what you take from it.
