Still Blowing

My Plum and Crabapple Tree are in full bloom. I wish I could smell my Plum Tree. I remember that it is delightful.

The Crabapple is just about ready for the bees. I love to walk under its branches and hear it buzz.

It's been a couple of years since it was fully loaded with flowers and bees. I said I would take the day off to watch it. Well see. They never have subs.

The wind keeps blowing. I know it is the weather pattern of Spring, but I sure don't enjoy the wind.

Don't blow away...

Windy Days

Boy we had a windy week. When it blows like that it means that the tulips are in bloom.

I do love them.

The trees are blooming too so my allergies are on full throttle.

I went to lunch with my dad's cousin Mary yesterday. She had invited a neice of hers. They have been paling around together.  This neice is my age and she has been through some really ruff times. It is just like Mary to take her under her care and work with her.

We saw a performance of the Lamb of God last night. It was a powerful testimony of the Savior.

I put these two things in the same post because, Mary is a beautiful soul, who helps others and sees them as the Savior sees them. She does not go to church, but is extremely Christlike.

How easy it is to mix up being Christian with going to church. I used to struggle with the question,  What is my relationship with Jesus?  I came to know that yes, going to church and renewing my covenant with Him is a huge part of it. However, when I leave the church I need to see people like He does. If they need something, I do what I can. If they need someone to talk to. I can listen. I can't fix them, only He can, but I can take a minute out of my day and praise them or thank them. I decided that my relationship with Jesus was strengthened by what I did outside of the church.  I'm sure everyone is different.  I just think we sometimes forget that there are millions of Christlike people who never come to church.

Happy tulip season to all.

Solar Eclipse

I love the eclipse glasses. I wanted to watch the eclipse but had to do it with my class. Although I should have taken the day off because I had a sinus infection.

But I had purchased glasses for them and had them pumped up. I explained multiple times that we were not in the path of totality, rather just 35%.

We enjoyed it. I gave away several pair of glasses to other adults so they could see it.

We felt part of a group of people who traveled far to see it in totality.  In my heart I hoped that these students would know that God created the world and these moments to testify that He loves them.   No. I didn't say it, just hoped they would feel it.

I realized I haven't posted flower pictures this Spring. Please know that I have noticed and been grateful for the beauty on this Earth.

My early tulips.

Tulips in St George.

My favorite...Pansies.  They are tough as nails. What a compliment, when someone calls you a Pansie.

I love this beautiful world we live in.

Keep looking for beauty
