Busy, busy, busy

I took these pictures before the fog moved in.

The problem with fog in Idaho is that it is freezing fog. Should have ryme ice pictures tomorrow.

But it was warm enough for the Primrose to bloom.

Betty came and had breakfast with us. She is very much like her cousins. She enjoyed eggs, sausage and blueberries. She's changing all the time and she's into everything. Love it.

I'm still avoiding my screen. I struggle with needing to know what is going on and suffering from anxiety if I know too much.
So I'm still trying to keep busy.

I started a new book this week.
Sewed a lot.
Went to the movies with a friend...it was good to get out and laugh...

Cleaned out gloves and socks and found an organization that will let me donate them. Let me tell you, since I retired, I buy compression angle socks so my arches don't hurt. I had dozens of good socks so I do feel better about spending $12 for a pair of socks if I can give away the rest. As for the gloves; if it's super cold outside no one goes out. I just kept my favorites.

Lastly, I listened to the Follow Him podcast. My problem wasn't that I didn't agree with it. My problem was that I still am living in a world were women are supposed to follow their husband's wise (or not) counsel. It's a personal issue, but the struggle is real.

I'm still binge watching The West Wing and I finished All Creatures Great and Small. I'm ready to enjoy the new season.

I imagine I will keep busy again this week. I'm ready to start the cookbook that I lost in my Google Docs- I've searched, I've asked many people to help- it's gone. It's a project.

God bless the immigrants....
God bless Greenland...
God bless America....
