Our's is not to Question Why

Image
We were able to go a funeral of a family member this week.   Funerals are always a time that make me reflect and be grateful for the life I have had.   After the service, Wes said he would like a picture with his brothers that were there. So when they were gathered together for someone elses photo, I shot this. I am sorry, but it made me smile. So it wasn't the best photo, but this one is better. On our way home, we decided to stop at Brigham City to go through the open house. It is a beautiful temple, a place that also causes reflection and gratitude. Not to mention feelings of peace and love.

What a Week!

These pictures are from my walk. These weeds or flowers, line the walking path this time of year and the corn is tall and will be ready to harvest soon. After what seemed like the longest summer on record, we finally made it to back to school week. It has been interesting. Callie had the first day of her last year of school. We are also celebrating our last year of Middle School --- Yeah --- and I am living with a college student. The living with a college student is new to me and a very interesting experience. I am extremely grateful that my three college students have their tuition and books taken care of. Life is good.

Gone to the Lake

Rich at the lake Scott at the lake with his shades Keith and Courtney came up this weekend and wanted to go see Scott E. You don't have to ask me twice, I miss that kid, so off to the lake we went. We had a great time and it was Callie's birthday, so we had cake to boot! We have done some interesting things on Callie's birthday. Compared to moving, this was a great day.

He's Back

Well, he is home. I am happy to have the entire clan together again. Two years is long time, but I wouldn't trade this time for any other. Because his flight came in at 5:40 and prom was the same night, Callie and Scott brought their prom dates to the airport. They were good sports about it all.

Full House

Image
Well we had a full house this weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keith and Courtney came to celebrate Richard's 12th birthday and they brought Emily with them. So I invited Peter O to come visit also. He brought a friend. Every one had a good time. I will say that as soon as Keith leaves it sure is quiet in our house. Richard had a unique cake this year. Since he is so interested in georgraph, Jen came over and helped me give him the world. Trust me, with out her, it would not have looked as nice.
