And Time Goes On
As a new year starts, I want to look for ideas to move forward with the new year.
I feel like this blog is for me. I record a glimpse of my life. I figure that no one looks at it, but maybe someday, my family will have a record of my thoughts, adventures and spiritual beliefs.
Let me say, that when I notice that someone does read this, it freaks me out. However, I am sticking to my premise and am going to continue to record pictures and feelings.
Me....New Years Eve...Every...Year
With that said, what an incredibly long week. I've been busy, a walk with my friend Cathy. We peeked in a window of a new house she is looking to buy, and I felt okay about the front window, but walking around back made me feel like an intruder.
I had lunch with Brooke and Trina. I love this mother and daughter combo. It makes me miss my own mother and my daughter, but I love the laughter and the girl talk. You know what? They brought up that I'm a Mormon, but not like the rest. My response.... welcome to my world.
The Nordquists came to dinner and we played a game. I love hanging with these people. Good for my soul.
We also went to dinner one night,
went to the hot spring (Miracle Hot Springs), and a weekly temple trip.
I also suggested to Wes that he get some help with his memory. He feel apart. He went into negative self talking. He is good at being someone he isn't. I forgot how broken he is. I wish he would fight to save his brain. I deal with the real Wes, and sometimes it is extremely difficult.
And in the world... well I'm about ready to make a political rant. What is going on in this administration is terrifying...day after day.
At the end of the day, I'm a Jesus following, church going, grandkid loving women, who loves her family, God and life.
May the new year be blessed...
