Crunch, crunch, crunch

I'm still enjoying the Fall colors. I love the crunch of the leaves. I also love to teach kids all about leaves. Because of that,  they bring me handfuls, everyday.

Walking in the Fall

Image
When I stopped to take this picture,  I had to laughas I heard someone say, "What is she doing?" "She's taking a picture.' Hey, I guess not everyone thinks this tree is worth a picture. After a crazy day, I decided to head out on Friday. I just love the change of color this time of year. I have to admit that this path through the park has not always been in good shape. I'm happy that they found the money to fix it.   Leaves are falling,  Autumn is calling.

Walking

I started walking again. I had a walk in February that caused tendinitis. After too much time and a new pair of walking shoes and some visits to my physical therapist, I started to walk again. I forgot how much I love to walk around this little town. I wanted to show the colors change. So, hopefully, I will be able to show some of my walk. Love this weird tree in the fall. And the park I like to walk through. Hmm, it should be fun to watch the changes.

Grace

I lost a thumb drive a couple of weeks ago. I looked everywhere. I went through every inch of my desk at home and school. I prayed, still couldn't find it. I had given up. I needed some documents on it and was afraid that I was going to have to start from the start. Then I came home Monday and looked down to see this. I don't know how it got here, but I know how I found it. Sometimes, it is only the grace of God that helps us. Everyone knows I love flowers. These have done very well this year. It won't be long until we get a freeze and these will be gone. It is always something to look forward to.

Wedding Stuff

Last week was the final wedding event. We had an Open House here for Richard and Ashley. I put up new lights for it and I'm not taking them down. I really like them. Back to the Open House. Richard and Ashley had some car problems on the way down here. So Wes and Spencer went to Brigham City to pick them up and bring them here. We took them back the next day. It was a crazy weekend. Weddings tend to bring families together. I have been grateful for all the help my family has given to me. My mom, myself and my grand daughter all have the same middle name. All spelled differently.  These two are peas in a pod when they are together. It makes me happy. Here is another grandchild with the middle name of Kay. I love these guys.  They make my day just by being their goofy selves.

Wedding

I have to say that the last three weeks have been crazy. I spent two solid weeks getting ready for school,  because Richard and Ashley  got married the Saturday before school started. It took a lot of effort, and two photographers, but we did get a family picture. Thanks Jake for taking a keeper. I love this picture. These three were a great help and a whole lot of fun. The grands had an incredible time dancing. Here are all my boys. I was happy to have most of my family there. My sister flew out with my parents,  who enjoyed being around family. Wes had a couple of his brothers there. And a big shout out to Jacquie and Byron, who helped us with the dinner. Liz and her grand daughter made the journey too. I was soooo happy to see them. I have more pictures.  But they are not of the wedding. We had a great time, but no wedding comes without a little stress. ...

Say it isn't so

I can't believe I go back to work tomorrow. This summer has gone by so fast. I have captured some of my favorite places. An A's game....They might do something this year. My happy place. I love the Pacific Ocean. Such a beautiful, peaceful walk through a Redwood Groove.    This was a good day at the pool with the grands, but I love to go to water aerobics everyday.  The Salmon River at Uncle Joes. Such a special  place filled with memories of family. Here is an easy walk in Provo near the river. Had everyone with us but Richard and  Ashley. Here's to a great school year.
