52 Questions

I'm not really sure how I ran into these questions , but last year Wes and I answered them.  There are 52, one for each week of the year. When you are done,  you have a pretty decent life history. We gave them to our kids for Christmas. Just what they wanted. However, It was a good experience. Literally and nice journey through life. I kept thinking that I should add pictures to it. I have started scanning in pictures so  I can put a face to all those stories.

The Winter of '48

Here we sit in our warm house. We are having another Snow Day. I used to like Snow Days, but not so much any more. I took this picture for Richard on Sunday. My little snow mounds are now about 7 inches taller. Here is the deal. A snow day starts with a 5 am phone call. Why can't they call it the night before? It is not fun to be woke up by the phone. I am tired. Yesterday, as it was snowing like crazy and we were at school, I said to my dear friend and helper, Grandma  Susan, "What is with this winter?" She said to me, "It is like the winter of '48'" I don't want to relive history. I feel like I live in a snow globe.

Staying Positive

I have made it a goal to stay positive this week. There are some things that make it really hard. 1.  It is so stink'n cold here. 2. There is ice everywhere. 3. The media is making Trump look like an idiot. or maybe he does it himself, I really don't know. So here is my positive list. 1.  I have had house guest since the 23rd of December. The last one left on Friday. Scott is here, but he is not a guest. 2.  The full moon shinning on the snow was beautiful. 3.   I have been reading more and it is very enjoyable. New list next week. Peace Out.

Guns?

We have had some snow this week. We had a blizzard. We are now going to have an event/storm. I am going to call it a mess. But I have something else on my mind this morning. I have this on my mind often. I'm calling this,  I don't think Jesus loves guns. First of all, I'm not a believer of taking away anyone's right to have a gun. However, I don't think anyone has a right to a semi automatic weapon. If you want to go hunt, so your family can eat...knock yourself out. If you find it relaxing to shot..go to a shooting range and shoot. But I have yet to find a reason to own a weapon that's only purpose is mass killings. Here are some questions I have been asked. What if someone wanted to steal your stuff? You can have my stuff.  I don't need it. For where your  treasure  is, there will your heart be also.  Luke 12:34 What if someone wanted to kill you? I'm not afraid to die, And it shall...

I can't believe it!

Am I the only one who is wondering where last week went to? I have no Christmas pictures from my house. I tried to take a picture on Christmas,  and it just didn't happen. Here are some after Christmas pictures. I love going to Sun Valley in the winter and the summer. This kid had his own kind of fun. Everyone else had to work for it. It was a beautiful day. They did a good job. It wasn't too cold. Between you and me, that's why we went. It felt great to be outside in the sun for a while. Here are a couple of pix's of my grand daughters. For the record, they were not in Sun Valley. But they were having a great time. And the grand sons. They are crazy little men.
