Season Over

Well, the season is over.  We had a little hiccup with the passing out thing, but he got better and back to work.
He fouled the ball.  Can you see it?
So since none of his brothers were able to get to a game, here he is pitching.

Depending on the umpire, that pitch could have been a strike or a walk or both, who knows.

I found some pictures

I took too many pictures last week and I just wanted to share a few more.

We were so happy to run into these two.

Callie many not have a sister, but she loves her cousin like a sister.

Love the trees in the back of this picture.  They were beautiful.

Here is Katelyn with her sisters.

I just noticed that I didn't post a picture at Easter.
We let Rich find some eggs.

And here is another picture of my tulips.  They have been so pretty this year.  I couldn't figure out why the ones by the driveway weren't blooming until yesterday when I looked out and saw the little girls from next door picking them.

The Cougars are Out

We have been at graduation.  There is nothing like a college graduation.  I would love to say that I love them, but they are long, and there are soooooo many people at them that I spend my time telling myself that these kids have worked hard and deserve every moment of it.

You know that I love a college graduation picture with the parents.  Just in case you want to look at the ones I have posted in the past, they are here and here.

And for the first time in a long time and probably the last time for a long time, here we are together.

Hanging with the family

So we had a little family get together after church today.  I love them all and am happy to have them all here, even if they did eat every brownie.
Here is Callie with her cousins.  What can I say?  I told her if she didn't stop making faces, her face would stay like that.
 Good Eats
Here is my father and his clone.
I always say, if your own grand kids aren't around, borrow some for the day.
 Together again.
She was tough, it may look warm, but the wind was blowing and it was cold.  She loved it.
No idea, and was too scared to ask.
 Together again.
 Todd and Katelyn
 Looking good.
We had a great day and I feel lucky to have such a great family.

He's Back

What you need to know is that when we went to pick up Keith from the airport, Wes was late and we saw the plane land as we were driving to the airport.  So we left early for the airport, but the wind was blowing from the south. Blowing, as in, Welcome to Idaho wind.  As we were driving to the airport, 1/2 hour early, I look up and see a plane landing.  Dang it!  We did it again.  However, we did get there in time to see him get off the plane.

He looks great and is adjusting really well.  I Love, Love, Love having him home.

Pop - Corn Popping

When Easter comes around, I always hope for a ray of color outside.  I am lucky this year, because it was such a warm winter, we have more than usual.
So this is not my apricot tree, but it has the same effect.

 We have some yellow too.
And I even have a few tulips.  These are the oldest tulips I have.  The newer ones are later.  But I will take what I can get.
I finished this last week during conference.  I have been working on it for years and it is just a little thing.

It seems to me that our blessing come in lumps.
Scott comes home Wednesday.  He is speaking in church next week on the 15th and we would be happy to see anyone who wants to drop by.
Todd and Katelyn are having a baby boy.  They are graduating in two weeks and then they are moving to Wisconsin, where Todd has a job.
Rich is doing better, and we know that we may never know why he passed out, but we know that his heart is good, and are grateful for your good thoughts.
Life is Good

Spring Break is almost over

When Todd and Katelyn were dating, she would take him on picnics.  I found a picnic basket at a yard sale in Provo and wanted to make a picnic quilt and give it to her.  However, Todd talked me into giving him the picnic basket.  Good thing, because I just finished the quilt.  I love a  picnic, so I am already thinking of making me a picnic quilt too.
I also finished this little quilt too.  I have the perfect place to hang it.

We did take Rich to get his test done and we have not heard a thing.  My feeling is no news is good news.  He is feeling better and playing baseball again.
The best part of Spring Break is that it ends with General Conference.  I love watching it and having that sweet spirit in my home.
Come listen to a living prophet
